Collage3TAASC’s cycling program includes AMBUCS AmTrykes for neighborhood cruisers and hand cycles or other models for distance cyclists. Evaluations to find the right adaptive cycle for you can be scheduled throughout the year. Adaptive hand, recumbent and side by side bikes are available for loan for assessment. TAASC can direct you to several sources of funding for cycling equipment. Anyone using TAASC cycling equipment is required to wear a bike helmet. Those using their own bikes are strongly encouraged to wear helmets. TAASC plans monthly group rides from the Adventure Center and in Dayton. Distance riders are encouraged to train as a group and ride in Pedal with Pete in August and the Pedal, Paddle, and Picnic held at the TAASC Adventure Center in September.  Visit TAASC Adaptive Cycling Group on Facebook to network with other cyclists.

How to Register: Contact to arrange an equipment evaluation. Click on the Participate tab to register to have a support rider or other assistance at Pedal with Pete or to register for the Pedal, Paddle, and Picnic.

Fees: TAASC disability members receive equipment evaluations at no additional charge. Fees to participate in events vary and are listed with the event registration information.
