Kayak, fish, or use small sailboats on Twin Lakes with access to the Scioto River at O’Shaughnessy Reservoir. The TAASC Adventure Center has a beach for boat launch, 50 kayaks, two small sailboats, and canoes. Twin Lakes is an enclosed no wake zone and a great place for beginners to learn and practice skills or for experienced paddlers to relax and watch the wide variety of birds. Twin Lakes offers access to the Scioto River with its no wake zone for two miles to the south. It is a great paddle down to the Glick Road Bridge and Columbus Zoo. To the north paddlers can go about 8 miles passing Home Road and Bellpoint.
The picnic area can accommodate 100 people. Canopies, a fire ring, and grills are available. Limited overnight rustic camping is available. TAASC has a meeting room for 20, a full kitchen and an accessible restroom with shower. TAASC welcomes disability and other community groups to book events at the TAASC Adventure Center.
