Establish learning through experience
Our Board, Program Coordinators & Volunteers
We have hundreds of passionate and committed volunteers who enjoy working with people with disabilities in a variety of settings. We are professional, fun to be around and most importantly hold the safety of all TAASC participants in the highest regard. TAASC volunteers are the lifeblood of our organization. Without these individuals, who give their time, enthusiasm and hard work, TAASC would not be the great organization that it is today.
Safety
Safety requirements are enforced throughout all of the TAASC programs. Prior to a participant becoming involved in a program there are several safety requirements that must be fulfilled. Along with completing a Participant Application, the participant must complete the necessary safety evaluations or clinics specific to each program.
Accessibilty
We strive to make all of our programs accessible to everyone. Destinations are selected based on accessibility. Adaptive equipment and additional volunteer support are provided to meet participant needs on an individual basis.
Program Registration
Registration for all TAASC programs and events is mandatory in order for us to make sure the proper equipment and support is provided for each participant. It is best to register on-line or call our office at (614)293-4963. If you have any questions prior to registering please feel free to give us a call, or better yet email your questions to info@taasc. We will be happy to answer any questions you may have. Space is limited, so register soon.
Program Fees
TAASC wishes to keep all program fees at a minimum. Adaptive equipment has been purchased through generous grants and donations. Program fees are reduced for members. Please become a member of TAASC and support our community mission. For those with financial need, scholarships are available upon request. Program fees will be used for insurance, equipment, scholarships and the general operation of TAASC.
Cancellation and Refund Policy
A full refund or credit towards another program is issued when TAASC cancels a program in which you have enrolled. If you cancel, we would appreciate a minimum of a three day notice. This will allow us to still fill all available slots in the program.
