Pre Construction Phase: Jeffery Property
Property Update: May 31, 2005
There will not be a scheduled work night this coming June 6th due to the TAASC board meeting. However, if you would like to carry on with the on-going list of to-dos, feel free to contact me. (S. Ricker).
The next “scheduled” work evening will be Monday’s 27th. There will be no scheduled work eve on July 4th.
Thanks again for all of the volunteer work hours to date. Cumulative total is around 350 hours to date!
Assessment of current status (includes buildings and program site)
Projects include: Garage/Storage building (phase 1-3)
Program site usage (phase 1-3)
Program Office rehab/addition (phase 1-5)
Here is a list of recent networking potentials for the property project:
Recent preliminary meeting with Able roofing to confirm project.
Possible building management group interested in collaborating on project.
Multiple donations from habitat for humanity
Meeting scheduled with Executive Director of Habitat for Humanity (Delaware County)
Window donations from Bob Meyer (if they fit our needs and space)
Property:
Re-mow parking , picnic areas etc. (mower would help) on-going
Assess & mark off accessible trail location & potential staging area
Move picnic tables
Move cut “deadwood” to firewood area (trailer –Bob )
Paint and frame future signs w/ logos possible Eagle-Scout project
Spread mulch around picnic tables (rake and shovel)
Fill holes and move mulch from “chipped trees” (wheel barrel)
Garage:
Build Shutters for garage (short term fix) (completed)
Paint shutters (white exterior paint and brush’s)
install of donated entrance door (completed)
Assess roof repair vs. new roof
Sweep and clean garage floor
Discuss game plan for “Able “
employee workday and long term project plan strategy.
Program Office: clean up of debris on porch and around buildings
